Context:

Mobile app for smart home water management system.

Goal:

This was a product that was not in the market yet, so our team was pushing to get a working demo ready for CES. The vision was to combine Machine Learning with a conversational UI, but for MVP, we opted for a simpler solution.

Process:

This was a scrappy process where we relied on subject matter experts and app store reviews of competing products to gain insight on possible use cases. Our findings were mapped out onto a sliding glass door (literally) and became the structure for our conversational UI. Next were wireframes and feedback from Tech leads to make sure our solution was feasible.

Result:

It was demo'ed at CES and it went well! 🎉
